Got in from work yesterday, to be greeted to an unexpected package. Opened it to find this little gem. As said totally unexpected, but a lovely gift.
Played it today, the quality of the recording is outstanding, i can’t say that all the tracks are my kind of music, but there’s no getting away from how well its all been produced and packaged.
But a lovely gift and I thank you dCS for thinking of me in this way, as you certainly didn’t need to do this. As not many other manufacturers would, but then we all know dCS isn’t like many manufacturers.
Just incase it’s not obvious, this is a twin cd pack. Sacd as well.
Not only that Duncan, dCS, through the good offices of Trevor at Guildford Audio, gave boxes of these discs to the Maverick forum for our annual show at Barnsley. I managed to sell them all within the first hour, with all the money going into the charity pot for the Barnsley Children’s Hospice. With the generosity of our members and other companies, we were able to hand over a cheque for £12,000. This hospice provides end-of-life support to children and their parents. THANKS dCS.
