What's Spinning September 2025

I am pretty sure my account is anchored in the UK. Does this help?

Yup, that did the trick, thanks.

I’ve added it as a favourite, and it’s now added to my play queue.

Weird that it didn’t appear previously in my Qobuz search…

Ian not surprised as I find the Qobuz search engine capricious at best. I will often need to repeat the query several times using alternative search terms before the recording is found. When it is all of the terms I entered are shown. What is of concern is it seems to be increasingly unpredictable.

That is indeed a concern!

@AndrewS I’m enjoying what I’ve heard so far… :smiley:

Thanks. I’ve added it to the queue…

I’ll have a listen tomorrow. At a theater right now for some comic relief.

It’s an EP, so there are only 4 tracks (totalling 34 minutes) but, to me, any live performance of Led Zep is worth hearing…
I’m certainly enjoying these ones

:scream:
I thought my left B&W 8xx speaker was damaged when I first tried to listen to this one: huge distortion sound could be heard on the left while Linda May Han Oh was playing her double bass…
Went closer to the speaker and turned around it. Started to play the track again, and figured out the distortion sound I was hearing wasn’t coming from the speaker but from somewhere on the left wall!
Finally identified the problem was coming from a sidebar made of wood very close to the wall but not quite stable. Pushed the sidebar a bit so that it was fully stable again on its 4 feet and the distortion sound was gone!
Boy! This record has deep, low and heavy basses!

:broken_heart:

Released this week.
While I love their first Opus “Parcels”, like their second album “Day/Night”, really enjoy their “Live vol. 1 & 2” alternative versions, this one is barely “meh”.
Exact same repetitions of rhythmic, sounds, and chants that made the success of their debut albums (this mellow-ish Beach-boys sound crossed-over with French-touch electronica like patterns played with real instruments) without bringing anything new, makes “LOVED” totally dispensable.

Classical / Post-Classical / New Age - your guess is as good as mine.

Think Hania Rani or Poppy Ackroyd, but with a Harp.
