A nice piece on Diabaté Toumani Diabaté loved the kora’s 21 strings. The world fell in love with his music : Goats and Soda : NPR
Unfortunately he passed away this summer.

I haven’t heard Sophie de Bardonneche’s work, other than as a member of Les Arts Florissants (I have two of their albums in my library).
I also have one of Lucile Boulanger’s albums in my library.

I find most Haydn Sonatas incredible boring (even with my fav. Alfred Brendel 
)…
but yesterday on radio, I heard this interpretation:
Walter Olbertz playing Haydn.
Lovely and highly recommended!

Last week we held a dealer training for our Chinese distributor in Guangzhou and did A-B comparisons of Vivaldi vs Varèse. While dialing in the system (which comprised a Constellation Statement and Wilson Chronosonic XVXs) we put together a short playlist of tracks that we thought would show the contrast well.
