I thought the entire album was strong. Im not a lyrics oriented guy but some of the phrases in “let me make something in your life“ broke through
Early tull a different deal. Most dont know before aqualung
Depending on age it can well be the other way round. For me Tull are Stand Up, Aqualung and Thick as a Brick. The music that left founding memories for me was 1968 to 1972
Yes. I first heard aqualung and crosseyed mary and i was hooked. I went both directions and loved mick abrahams even following him to blodwin pig. Barre was a great addition. Stand up, this was and benefit are great albums that still stand up to time. Aqualung with ce mary and locomotive breath really got played to death. Thick as a brick for me had initial appeal but i tired quickly of it. Barre has a new album out last year i think. I really liked it. All tull redone. Strong.
