Rossini with headphones

In the end I decided not to use a XLR switch, too many cables involved.

4+ years later, but I thought I’d post just to confirm @mwilson .

I had Dodocus build a custom passive switch (3in XLR and 4out XLR +1out RCA) to replace the Hattor passive pre I had been using as a switch in my headphone rack to distribute the output from the MSB Select II DAC. When I decided to consolidate my systems and sell the MSB, the Dodocus also enabled me to have the Vivaldi Apex DAC drive the speaker system and three separate headphone/amp combos. And still have inputs and outputs to spare.

A big thumbs up for Dodocus. Completely passive, no power, and of course no remote. But that’s a minor inconvenience.

Been using a custom built Dodocus 3x XLR in / 3x XLR out to manage all my sources and amps. Dodocus use high quality components and I find them acoustically totally transparent.
