I’ve tried powerline adapters, but I admit it is a while ago. Still I think the fairly obvious and best solution overall is mesh, as also recommended by others. I would recommend the mesh-solution by Asus. Totally stable and gives you perfect coverage in every corner of even a large house with very minor latency. In my case that required a main router and 4 more routers as mesh clients around the house, some of them wired to the main router and some via the 5Ghz “back haul” channel.
