I would like to introduce myself to you all. I have recently joined dCS as Head of Platform, and am truly excited to be working amongst such an enthusiastic group of users and colleagues. It’s a privilege to be immersed in this wonderful audio industry, and I look forward to progressing solutions that delight. My role ensures the internal capabilities of hardware and software support great products.

Welcome! I have a question: is a “head of platform” (not something I’m familiar with) mostly engineering or mostly marketing? Your language rather suggests the latter.
I am wondering myself as well. Can you explain a bit more Will?

Another way to describe it is Product Manager for the engine within the machine(s). The engineering (technical) and marketing aspects are well mixed.
Aha! That’s a little bit clearer thank you. I suppose it is early days as far as your work goes. Can we expect to see you at shows and dealer events now and again? I imagine dCS will want to send you to some if only to learn about those sometimes strange, but very committed, customers: audiophiles.
