My new Bartók was ordered exactly two weeks ago. Guess what? It’s arrived already at my dealership in Old Harlow, to be delivered to me by next Wednesday.
Best I get my skates on and get the Naim NDX 2 and XPSDR boxes out of the loft, then strip down my Naim Fraim!
So looking forward to the Bartók!

Having taken your journey some time ago, I know the sound improvements awaiting you. Enjoy.

I found Bartok to Bartok 2.0 to be a noticeable improvement.
I then added the Rossini clock using the stock cables and felt it improved things further but I couldn’t pinpoint how .
I then upgraded to Rossini apex and without the clock it was a significant improvement versus bartok 2.0 ( resolution , bass , sound stage ).
I then reintroduced the Rossini clock but couldn’t really hear a difference ( again using stock cables ).
However very recently I sourced apogee wyde eye bnc cables and now with the clock the sound seems even more focused .
Bottom line , the dcs journey is highly rewarding despite the drain on the wallet ! Enjoy the music

Yup, the Bartók is en route as we speak.
Will wait a while until the Bartók is run in, then I’ll try it without the 282 Pre.
