Is there a difference in sound between Tidal Connect and Mosaic’s Tidal playback
I may be off base here but i don’t believe that the audio signal actually sees these control interfaces. i think that the audio signal goes from the source to a player directly and the control uses a separate path to the “tuner” and preamp which is already in the path and designed to be as transparent as possible to the audio signal

That is correct. No audio signal passes through Mosaic.
